Dublin Zombie Walk 2012

The annual Dublin Zombie Walk has been announced and will take place on the 4th of August this year. I'll try to post some zombie make-up tutorials in the next few weeks. In the meantime, those interested in getting involved on the big day can register @ http://www.dublinzombiewalk.com. Last year there were at least 8000 zombies roaming the streets of Dublin, this year there should be even more. Its for a good cause, all proceeds go to the Irish Cancer Association and the Lifeboats Association. Look dead!! Get involved!!

Tattoo In Progress

I started this last night with the idea in mind to do something big for myself, and I wanted to incorporate filigree into it somehow. A few changes are to be made and the filigree is a bit messy but its coming along. When its done I'll need to figure out where I want to put it!

Alternative Dwarves

My brother asked me to draw out Disney style dwarves, but as women, and with names like Fatty, Dykie, Jersey, Pinky and Gothie. I think his aim was to insult as many females as possible. Either way, they're kind of funny!

Eyes and Boobies!

Well, here are some eyes and some boobies....because everybody likes boobies!

Sea-themed Work Doodles

Mondays are fierce quiet in Balla Bán Gallery (in the Westbury Mall, drop in and make my day go a bit quicker!) so I have my trusty sketch book to doodle away the hours...

I Love My Mom

Because I really do, she's my hero!!

'Splice Girl' tattoo

A sketch for a friend, really cool concept. The piece is finished, with monkey wrenches in the background, giving it a skull and crossbones look. Can't wait to see how it looks when she gets it done!

Portraiture Workshop

The guys in the gallery were nice enough to offer me a place on a Studio Photography and Portraiture Workshop taking place over the next couple of weeks. Now, I have no photography training and I'm really just an amateur, so this is a great opportunity to learn some new skills. Here's a few shots from the workshop so far.
